My Hyundai Excel and its story

I was supposed to take my Hyundai Excel and my daughter Mikaela to Gold Coast January 2011. I booked to stay in a tent on a caravan site from 23rd January until 26th January with Pyramid Holiday Park, 145 Kennedy Drive Tweed Heads… But I ended up booking the tent until 28th January…

My car developed engine problems in Coffs Harbour. The engine was banging and the power output was bad… So I decided to keep going and stop in Grafton on the 23rd of January.

We stayed in a Grafton motel overnight. I decided to leave the car with the mechanics for one week after all the hassles. It cost me $3000 to get the engine replaced! I hired an Hydundai Elantra 2011 model on 24th until 28th and it was very nice. Mik and I stopped over at Lismore and Casino. I went to see my ancestors George Parker and Euphemia Mc Kinnon at the Pioneer cemetery at Casino.

I caught the XPT train (CountryLink) from Grafton at 9pm 28 January and arrived in Strathfield 6.36am. Got a taxi home. I enjoyed the XPT ride home. Very nice indeed. I paid $87.21…
